Raised outside, the way it should be
Our hens live outside on our 5-acre ranch in Dripping Springs. Real space to scratch, roam, and forage — not a barn, not a cage. Their base feed is supplemented with legume sprouts, dried marigold for yolk color, and black soldier fly larvae for protein. The result is an egg that actually tastes like one.
Never commercially washed
Commercial eggs are pressure-washed before sale, a process that strips the natural protective bloom from the shell. Ours are never washed. That intact cuticle keeps bacteria out and naturally extends shelf life. It's how eggs were handled before industrial processing.
Collected and packed fresh
Eggs are collected daily and available for pickup within 24–48 hours. No cold chain, no warehouse, no weeks sitting in a refrigerated truck. You're getting an egg that was laid this week.
